The abstract deadline for the upcoming MRS Fall 2013 is getting closer (June 19th). Once again, I want to bring the Symposium N: Functional Aspects of Luminescent and Photoactive Organic and Soft Materials to your attention. Check out the Call for Papers for further details. We are glad about every submission and are excited to bring together a fruitful and inspiring symposium.
Together with my colleagues Malte C. Gather, Max Shtein, and Donal D. C. Bradley, I am organizing a symposium at this years fall meeting of the Materials Research Society (MRS) in Boston, Massachusetts (December 1-6, 2013).
Functional Aspects of Luminescent and Photoactive Organic and Soft Materials
We envision a broad, interdisciplinary symposium covering current research focussing on luminescent and photoactive properties of organic and soft materials. The recent developments in the field of organic light-emitting diodes will surely be one main focus, but we strive to go beyond just OLEDs to explore other key applications of this material class offering great variability.
The abstract submission will start this Sunday (May 19, 2013) and be open for a month until closing day on June 19, 2013.
Be sure to check out our Call for Papers to see, how your research can fit in. We are excited to receive your submissions and hope to get together an interesting and fruitful symposium. In addition to the main Symposium N, we will host a joint tutorial (more details to come) together with the organizers of Symposium Q: Organic Microlasers–From Fundamentals to Device Application.
